Twenty-four 4th through 10th grade community jazz ensemble, dedicated to the education, practice and performance of jazz music, committed to serving the area by fostering the genre and spreading the love of music. Christmas program.

The Cellar Dwellarzz Jazz Ensemble is a community jazz group, dedicated to the education, practice and performance of jazz music, under the direction of Mr. Neil Forte III and Miss Jennifer Gerhard. The members of the group are comprised of students from throughout the Hazleton Area and beyond, who are committed to serving their community by fostering the art of jazz and spreading the love of music throughout our area. The group enjoys performing at a professional level throughout the area. Students volunteer their time for all weekly rehearsals and various community performances. They have performed at many venues thus far, including the White House Holiday Open House, HASD Senior Citizen’s Breakfast Program, Unico Club, Polonaise Society, Can-Do, Wiltsie Center, Hazleton Concert Series, Lion’s Club, Helping Hands Telethon, Conyngham Historical Society, and Eckley Miner’s Village. They are booking a schedule of community performances through the coming months.
